In 1981 He created his own magazine TEEN ANGELS. He created a huge underground network and thrived in the 80s and 90s. In the late 90s his younger son Johnny was given the control and ownership of the magazine. Along with his brother David “Payaso” Holland, they carried on the magazine till about 2007. There was one more issue about 2011. The magazine was definitely not coming out on a regular bases. Smiley realized he didnt have much time for the magazine and decided to let David “Travieso” Medina and Richard Castor run the magazine. Payaso still helped out as a sales men for the magazine. The first issue from this team debuted at the beginning of 2014. Issue #232. Since then the word has been spreading that the magazine is back! People are very excited to here the name TEEN ANGELS MAGAZINE once again.
