Here Are All of the Places You Can Get Free Tacos in 2020 if You Are an L.A. Taco Member, Mapped

Not all heroes wear capes—some wear tortillas.

As you all may know, the only reason L.A. Taco has survived in a time when so many other publications have shuttered is that readers like you have stepped up and become paying members. To put it simply: Without you, there would be no L.A. Taco. Every penny of your monthly contributions goes toward every word published on both our site and social media accounts.

To our current, new, and OG members, our e-fists are perpetually facing you with respect and gratitude. Thank you for your commitment to L.A. culture and for personally making sure that you will always have the most up-to-date regional taco recommendations in the city.

It is our hope that you been out in the streets enjoying the hell out of your sleek black L.A. Taco cards, and eating your monthly dues worth of tacos—and then some. If you haven’t, behold the newest tool in your taco lifestyle arsenal created by a fellow L.A. Taco member.

This map is brought to you by George S., who took it upon himself to make sure we all take advantage of the perks that L.A. Taco’s Director of Partnerships Memo Torres has worked so hard to procure.

“I joined as a member late last year and haven't been able to take advantage of many perks yet, so making this map was a way to remind myself where I can go,” he tells L.A. Taco.

“My wife is a journalist, and has been a reporter for several small community newspapers (she's currently at the LA Times), and I have seen the deep value in local journalism. As a transplant in L.A., I know that no one can help me continue to learn about and love this city than publications with deep roots to the community, like L.A. Taco!”

There are more than 40 partner restaurants and taquerias around the county and the perks include everything from free tacos to free oysters. And now, you will be able to save this map and open the app on your phone to locate the closest partner to you.

Shout out to you, George S.
